![]() ![]() I am assuming we are working on a fresh install of RetroPieįirst off we need to change a few "system" settings on the pi. ![]() So now your pi is wired up, get your pi up and running with a keyboard and a screen, we need to start to get things working. So first off, lets get the wires connected. They have a few more wires, and some slight software tweaks are needed to get them to work. You can get a screen that is ready to roll with no modifying for somewhere in the region of $6, they come in a range of sizes (2.2",2.4",2.8") and you can chop away excess PCB and get it rather small. Would just like someone else to confirm that the issue exists.I know SPI screens get a bad write up, they are not as fast, they suffer with 'tearing' and they use up your gpio pins, but they have lots of benefits too! I've also had it happen in Tokyo Xtreme Racer 2, Rippin Riders, and Tony Hawk 2. And as I said, DOA2 isn't the only game in which this problem occurs, but it's the easiest one to notice it in. When it has booted up to the menu, Press F4 on keyboard, this will go to command prompt. Plug the controller (s) into the front USB ports. Plug a USB keyboard into one of the side USB ports. Do the controls randomly drop out/stop responding for a couple seconds at a time? I've had this issue on every dev build of Redream, but stable works fine. The following steps which will reset the controller input and when it next boots it will have the option to configure the controllers. Go into Sparring mode, and walk up and down in 1-2 second bursts for a few minutes (you could also just play the game I suppose, but this is the method I use). Start up Redream (latest dev build, updating from Retropie-Setup should get you the latest), using a Dualshock 4 (important), and load Dead or Alive 2 (not the only game the problem is present in, but the easiest to notice it in). If anyone wants to help, here's what to do: Die ersten beiden Punkte dienen der Installation, dies haben. Could someone help me out with something? I've been having a problem with Redream, and I'd just like someone to try and reproduce it so I can know for sure it's not just me. ![]()
